Deon is an Associate Professional Member of the SA Association of Jungian Analysts (SAAJA) and does regular public lectures for them.

He completed two summer intensive continuing education study programmes at the C G Jung Institute and the International School for Analytical Psychology, Zurich Switzerland.

GOLF PSYCHOLOGY

Since the early 1980’s Deon has also specialized in Golf Psychology and has consulted with many of South Africa’s top professional players on the DP World and USPGA Tours.

He also works with amateur and club players, as has consulted with top players in provincial and national teams.

He was a regular lecturer at the Vodacom World of Golf, and the resident psychologist at the Gary Player School for Champions.

Deon also co-designed the mental aspect of the Gary Player Golf Academy with Gary Player.

Deon has published many articles in the Golf Digest and Complete Golfer.
